Brazil vs. Argentina: Which CONMEBOL Team Has Better Copa America 2015?

Barcelona recently won the 2014-15 Spanish League championship for the 23rd time in franchise history much in part to their dynamic offensive pair of Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Although the two have been teammates since 2013, they will each be facing off against one another in the 2015 Copa America this summer. The Copa America is of course South America's biggest and most recognizable soccer tournament that dates back to 1916. This year's Copa America will be played in Chile, and it begins on June 11.

Brazil and Argentina represent one of the biggest international soccer rivalries of all-time. Brazil has won the most FIFA World Cups ever with five, however Argentina has the edge in Copa America titles, 14-8. In a little while we should be hearing from Brazilian soccer legend Pele on why Neymar is better than Messi. This rivalry runs deep.

The last seven matches have ended with four Brazil victories, two draws and just one win from Argentina.

This Copa America is particularly huge for numerous reasons. One, Argentina is looking to make history as the greatest South American National Team in continental history. Argentina has won 14 Copa America championships, the second most ever behind Uruguay who has 15. Messi led this nation to the World Cup finals last year but unfortunately lost to Germany in the championship, and he has yet to win a Copa America. As a matter of fact, Argentina hasn't won this tournament since 1993 when they defeated Mexico in the finals.

For Brazil, the stakes are just as high. Just last summer they were embarrassed on their home soil against Germany in the notorious 7-1 route in the knockout stage. Brazil has the third most Copa America titles of all-time with eight, however they have won four of the last six tournaments since Argentina won their last back in 1993. This is Neymar's time to shine. Neymar scored four goals in the World Cup last year but couldn't finish because of a vertebra injury. Neymar has been named Brazil's team captain ahead of Thiago Silva.

Brazil defeated Argentina in the finals in both 2004 and 2007. Messi was a member of the '07 Argentina squad that lost in the finals. However, geography may be on Argentina's side. The last time a Copa America was played in Chile was 1991. That year Argentina defeated Brazil in the finals. Again, this rivalry runs deep.

Argentina is in Group B with Uruguay, Paraguay and Jamaica. Argentina is currently the No. 2 ranked team in the world. Uruguay ranks No. 8, Jamaica ranks No. 74 and Paraguay ranks No. 81.

Brazil is in Group C with Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. Brazil is currently the No. 5 ranked team in the world. Colombia ranks No. 4, Peru ranks No. 63 and Venezuela ranks No. 69.

There's no doubt Brazil has the tougher group to get past. Argentina may have Uruguay in their group, but we must remember that Luis Suarez (also on Barcelona) will not be playing in this Copa America because of his biting incident.

Barcelona's starting goalkeeper Claudio Bravo will also be playing in the upcoming Copa America. He will be looking to lead Chile to their first ever championship.

England vs New Zealand, Live Score, 2nd Test Match, New Zealand tour of England, 2015

The second and final Test of the two-match series between England and New Zealand will be played at Headingley, Leeds. The two teams will then proceed towards their five-match One-Day International (ODI) series.

New Zealand will prove to be a tough opponent for England, as their pace attack is as good as any of the top sides. The presence of the likes of Tim Southee, Trent Boult and others will surely make life tougher for the best of the batsmen.

England will be aiming to get their act right in this two-Test series, as they will be taking on the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 finalists in an ODI series before heading into the Ashes 2015.

Talking about their records, England won their last match at the venue against Sri Lanka by 100 runs in 2014. And the last time when England and New Zealand clashed in a Test, New Zealand were slammed by 247 runs.

New Zealand have played seven Tests at the venue, and have won only one, which was more than 22 years ago, in 1983.

Argentina vs El Salvador: International Soccer Friendly Schedule, Stream, Predictions & Preview

Argentina and El Salvador will play each other in a much-anticipated soccer game on Saturday afternoon.

Arguably the best player in the world, Lionel Messi, will be on the field in this game. Both countries are located in Latin America, but this game will take place at the Washington Redskins NFL stadium near the United States capital.

Latin Post previews the teams and predicts who will win:

Argentina (2)

The Argentina National Team comes in ranked No. 2 in the world behind only Germany, who won the 2014 FIFA World Cup against them in Brazil. This will be Argentina's first friendly since November when they lost to Portugal, 1-0. Coach Gerardo Martino will also have to prepare for an international friendly on Tuesday against Ecuador.

Some potentially bad news for Argentina and Barcelona fans: Lionel Messi has been listed as "questionable," and may not be in the starting lineup against El Salvador. Messi has been the best La Liga player this season leading the Spanish Premier division in both goals and assists. Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero and Ezequiel Lavezzi will be the other starting forwards for Argentina.

This Argentina squad is very young and talented, and you can bet they already have their sights on the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Sergio Romero will get the start in net with Nahuel Guzmán as his backup.
Javier Mascherano leads the middle fielders along with Angel di Maria, Lucas Biglia, Ever Banega, Javier Pastore, Enzo Perez, and Roberto Pereyra. The biggest thing to watch will be Argentina's young defense. Outside of Pablo Zabaleta and Marcos Rojo, some questions still remain.

El Salvador (89)

The El Salvador National Team presently ranks No. 89 in the world, and No. 10 in CONCACAF. The small Latin American soccer nation of less than seven million people hasn't made a single World Cup appearance since 1982, but they full remember how that played out. Argentina defeated and thus eliminated El Salvador from the World Cup in a group stage game with a 2-0 victory.

El Salvador coach Albert Roca previously served as the Barcelona assistant head coach from 2003 to 2008. Maybe he remembers a few things about Messi and his style of play on the field.

Coach Roca has decided to give goalkeeper Derby Carrillo the start in net over Henry Hernandez. Team captain Andres Flores of the New York Cosmos leads the middle fielders with Jaime Alas and Arturo Alvarez. Rafael Burgos is the team's most skilled forward.

Just like Argentina, El Salvador will also be playing another friendly on Tuesday, against Guatemala.
